CUSTOMER CONCERN

The driver window is inoperative, while the other windows operate from their individual switches, and the BCM stores DTC U1538.

CAUSE

Inspection found two corroded factory splices in the wiring harness below the driver-side door sill, interrupting power and communication to the driver window switch.

CORRECTION

Repair the corroded wiring splices below the driver door sill and verify driver-window and master-switch operation.
