2011 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid – No Start With P0A0D

  • 1 min read

CUSTOMER CONCERN

The vehicle was towed in with a no-start condition and DTC P0A0D stored.

CAUSE

Interlock testing confirmed a fault in the service safety-plug wiring. The Red interlock wire measured 5 volts with the circuit open and should be near 0 volts with the plug installed and the circuit grounded; the Black wire is the ground circuit.

CORRECTION

Repair the service safety-plug interlock wiring, then verify the high-voltage interlock closes and the vehicle starts.
