2011 Honda Insight EX – Check Engine Light With P2422

CUSTOMER CONCERN

The check-engine light is on with EVAP-system DTC P2422 stored.

CAUSE

EVAP vent-path testing and the confirmed repair identified a restricted canister vent filter. The fuel-tank pressure sensor Green wire specification is approximately 2.5 volts with no vacuum or pressure applied.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the restricted canister vent filter, then verify EVAP-system operation and confirm DTC P2422 does not return.
