CUSTOMER CONCERN

Customer reports the hybrid warning light is on with DTCs P0A93 and P0AC4. The inverter-coolant reservoir was low, and the codes prevented the vehicle from passing an emissions inspection.

CAUSE

Diagnosis confirmed the inverter water pump had failed, preventing proper coolant circulation through the inverter cooling system.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the inverter water pump. Refill and bleed the inverter cooling system, clear DTCs, and verify coolant circulation and hybrid-system operation.
