2009 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited – Loud Engine Noise and Stalling With Timing Codes

CUSTOMER CONCERN
The engine developed a loud noise, stalled, and will only run briefly. DTCs P0016, P0018, P3190, P3191, P3193, and P0A0F are stored.
CAUSE
Camshaft-correlation and mechanical timing inspection confirmed incorrect camshaft timing caused by the timing-belt drive.
CORRECTION
Remove and replace the timing belt and restore the crankshaft-to-camshaft timing alignment.
