CUSTOMER CONCERN The oil-pressure warning light comes on while the engine is running, and DTC P0521 is stored. CAUSE Pressure comparison and circuit checks confirmed a failed engine oil-pressure sending switch. CORRECTION Remove and replace the engine oil-pressure sending switch.

CAUSE Mechanical oil-pressure testing showed pressure falling after warm-up. The engine oil was low and approximately 15,000 miles overdue, restricting camshaft-actuator oil control.
