CUSTOMER CONCERN

Customer states the air conditioning does not operate. DTC B1476 is stored.

CAUSE

High-voltage compressor testing confirmed an internal short in the electric air-conditioning compressor.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace electric air-conditioning compressor. Evacuate and recharge the refrigerant system, clear DTC B1476 and verify cooling operation.
