CUSTOMER CONCERN

Customer states the engine idles roughly and the check-engine light is on. DTCs P1174 and P0300 are stored.

CAUSE

Ignition spark and engine compression tested correctly, while cylinder-balance testing confirmed restricted or failed fuel injectors.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace fuel injectors. Clear DTCs and verify smooth idle operation.
