2007 Saturn Aura Green Line – 12-Volt System Not Charging

CUSTOMER CONCERN

Customer states the 12-volt battery goes dead and the charging system is inoperative. DTCs P1A63, P1A6B, P1A8F, P1A94 and P1AB1 are stored.

CAUSE

Connector-terminal, power-feed and ground testing confirmed an internal failure of the Starter Generator Control Module.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace Starter Generator Control Module. Program and configure replacement module. Clear hybrid-system DTCs and verify 12-volt charging operation.
