CUSTOMER CONCERN

Customer states the traction-control, ABS and brake warning lights are on. DTCs C1241 and C1249 are stored.

CAUSE

The stop-lamp input circuit did not supply battery voltage to skid-control ECU connector S39 terminal 14 on the Black wire with the brake pedal applied, confirming a failed brake light switch.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace brake light switch. Clear brake-system DTCs and verify stop-lamp operation.
