CUSTOMER CONCERN The air conditioning blows cold with the gasoline engine off but stops cooling when the engine runs. CAUSE The confirmed repair identified lost air-conditioning servomotor initialization as the cause of the temperature-control problem. CORRECTION Perform the air-conditioning servomotor initialization with the scan tool and verify cold air is maintained with the gasoline engine both off and running.

CUSTOMER CONCERN After front-end collision repair, the air conditioning does not operate, DTC P0073 is stored, and ambient-temperature data remains fixed at 69°F with a 5-volt signal. CAUSE Rodent damage behind the front bumper chewed through the wiring harness leading to the ambient-air-temperature sensor.
