2019 Toyota Prius AWD-e XLE – Parking Assist Faults C1AED and C1AF8

CUSTOMER CONCERN
After collision repairs, the parking-assist system stores DTCs C1AED and C1AF8 for rear sensor communication faults.
CAUSE
The rear intelligent-clearance sonar sensors had not been correctly aimed and registered after the collision repair.
CORRECTION
Perform the rear ultrasonic-sensor detection-angle procedures and intelligent-clearance sonar registration, clear DTCs C1AED and C1AF8, and verify parking-assist operation.
