2014 Toyota Prius Five – No Throttle Response With P2118

CUSTOMER CONCERN
The engine will not respond normally and DTC P2118 is stored even though the ETCS fuse and throttle-body connector terminals appear serviceable.
CAUSE
The gray power-supply wire to terminal 3 of ECM connector A57 was corroded inside its insulation near the harness loom, leaving the ECM terminal without battery voltage.
CORRECTION
Repair the open gray power-supply wire to terminal 3 of ECM connector A57, clear DTC P2118, and verify the engine starts and runs normally.
