2014 Ford Fusion SE Hybrid – Check-Engine Light With U019F, P26D0, and P26CA

CUSTOMER CONCERN

The check-engine light is on with DTCs U019F, P26D0, and P26CA for the electric engine-coolant pump communication and power circuits.

CAUSE

The gray power wire in the electric coolant-pump harness was rubbed through by a pump mounting bolt approximately six inches from the connector, leaving the circuit open.

CORRECTION

Repair the damaged gray electric coolant-pump power wire, secure the harness away from the mounting bolt, clear DTCs U019F, P26D0, and P26CA, and verify coolant-pump communication and operation.
