2013 Toyota Highlander Hybrid – Transmission Oil Pump Fault With P2602

CUSTOMER CONCERN

DTC P2602 returns after the inverter coolant pump was replaced for a transmission oil-pump circuit fault.

CAUSE

Circuit checks and confirmed repair identified an internal failure of the electric transmission oil pump, not the inverter coolant pump.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the failed transmission oil pump, clear DTC P2602, and verify transaxle-oil circulation and normal hybrid-system operation.
