CUSTOMER CONCERN

The check-engine light is on and DTC P2418 resets as soon as the engine starts.

CAUSE

The confirmed repair identified an internally failed fuel vapor valve in the vapor-tube assembly.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the fuel vapor valve and vapor-tube assembly, clear P2418, and verify the EVAP valve circuit operates normally.
