CUSTOMER CONCERN

The brake accumulator has low pressure, DTC C1256 is stored, and the accumulator pump does not run.

CAUSE

Power and ground were present at the hydraulic unit, confirming an internal brake actuator assembly failure.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the failed brake actuator assembly, perform the required brake-system bleed and calibration procedures, clear DTC C1256, and verify normal accumulator-pump and brake-system operation.
