2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid – Remote Door Locks Inoperative

CUSTOMER CONCERN
Remote and door-button locks do not operate, the security indicator does not flash, and the vehicle reports a smart-key/security system fault.
CAUSE
The door-control receiver circuit lost operation at the left-door harness connection. Manipulating the harness restored the system, and the confirmed repair identified the receiver wiring/connector as the fault.
CORRECTION
Repair the door-control receiver wiring and reseat the left-door harness connector, then verify remote locking, door-button locking, and security-indicator operation.
