CUSTOMER CONCERN

Customer states the ABS, traction-control and brake warning lights remain on after brake-booster pump replacement and bleeding. DTC C1253 is stored.

CAUSE

The ABS MTR1 fusible link and pump feed circuit tested correctly, isolating the fault to Engine Room Relay Block 2/Engine Room Junction Block 2.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace Engine Room Relay Block 2/Engine Room Junction Block 2. Clear brake-system DTCs and verify booster-pump operation.
