2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid – No Brake Pressure After Rear Calipers

CUSTOMER CONCERN

Customer states brake pressure was lost at the right rear after rear brake and caliper replacement, and conventional bleeding did not restore the pedal.

CAUSE

Air remained trapped in the electronically controlled brake system and the hydraulic pump required scan-tool activation.

CORRECTION

Operate brake pump and perform complete hybrid ABS bleed procedure with a compatible scan tool. Verify brake-pedal pressure.
