2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid LE – Hybrid System Fault With P0AA6-49 and P1C80-49
CUSTOMER CONCERN The hybrid system stores isolation-fault DTCs P0AA6-49 and P1C80-49 for the rear motor area. CAUSE Corrosion in the high-voltage floor under-wire harness caused the documented isolation fault. CORRECTION Remove and replace the corroded high-voltage floor under-wire harness, clear DTCs P0AA6-49 and P1C80-49, and verify high-voltage isolation and hybrid-system operation.
2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XLE – No Start With Low Voltage at Jump Terminal
CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle will not power up or start. The 12-volt battery tests good, but voltage is low at the underhood jump terminal. CAUSE The stud at No. 3 short connector A90/Y7 was loose, creating excessive resistance and a voltage drop between the 12-volt battery and underhood power distribution. CORRECTION Repair and secure the loose stud at No. 3 short connector A90/Y7, then verify full battery voltage at the underhood jump terminal and normal Ready-mode operatio
2018 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited – Sunroof Opens by Itself With Ignition Off
CUSTOMER CONCERN The sunroof intermittently opens by itself while the ignition is off. CAUSE Blocked sunroof drains allowed water into the moon-roof control unit, causing internal corrosion and unintended roof operation. CORRECTION Remove and replace the corroded moon-roof control unit, clear the blocked sunroof drains, and verify the roof remains closed with the ignition off and operates normally on command.
