2012 Kia Optima Hybrid – Transmission Shift Fault With P1775 and U1007
CUSTOMER CONCERN The transmission shifts incorrectly with OPU status-line DTC P1775 and C-CAN OPU timeout DTC U1007. CAUSE Power, ground and status-circuit testing isolated the fault to the Electric Oil Pump Unit. CORRECTION Remove and replace the Electric Oil Pump Unit, clear P1775 and U1007, and verify proper transmission shifting.
2014 Kia Optima Hybrid – Transmission Shifts Incorrectly With P1775 and U1007
CUSTOMER CONCERN Customer states the transmission does not shift correctly. DTC P1775 is stored for the electric oil-pump status circuit along with C-CAN communication DTC U1007. CAUSE Confirmed open circuits in wires 3 and 6 adjacent to electric oil-pump control unit connector E64-B. CORRECTION Repair the open circuits at wires 3 and 6 near electric oil-pump control unit connector E64-B.
2011 Kia Optima Hybrid – C1237 Hydraulic Power Unit Fault
CUSTOMER CONCERN Customer requests diagnosis of hydraulic power unit primary-pressure sensor signal DTC C1237. CAUSE Confirmed internal failure of the hydraulic power unit caused improper pressure or an invalid internal pressure-sensor signal and set DTC C1237. CORRECTION Remove and replace the hydraulic power unit.
