2006 Honda Civic Hybrid – IMA Light and Low Power With P0A7F
CUSTOMER CONCERN The IMA and check-engine lights were on, DTC P0A7F was stored, and power could drop enough that the vehicle struggled to exceed 35 mph uphill. CAUSE The high-voltage IMA battery had deteriorated. CORRECTION The high-voltage battery was replaced and the required control-module software was updated.
2006 Honda Civic Hybrid – CVT Shudder on Takeoff
CUSTOMER CONCERN The CVT produced a severe shudder when accelerating from a stop. CAUSE The continuously variable transmission was confirmed as the source of the takeoff shudder. CORRECTION The CVT assembly was replaced.
2006 Honda Civic Hybrid – 12-Volt Battery Not Charging
CUSTOMER CONCERN The 12-volt battery was not charging even though scan data showed the DC-DC converter commanded on and a 13.9-volt target. CAUSE The DC-DC converter failed to produce charging voltage. CORRECTION The DC-DC converter was replaced.
