2012 Toyota Prius Two – Inverter Cooling Codes P0A93 and P0C73
CUSTOMER CONCERN After collision repairs, DTCs P0A93 and P0C73 are stored and the inverter cooling system is empty. CAUSE The inverter coolant level was left low after collision repair, allowing air into the inverter cooling circuit and preventing normal coolant-pump performance. CORRECTION Refill and bleed the inverter cooling system with a compatible scan tool, clear DTCs P0A93 and P0C73, and verify inverter-coolant-pump speed and coolant circulation.
2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid – P0A93 P0AC4 and Inverter Coolant Leak
CUSTOMER CONCERN Customer states the malfunction indicator light is on with DTCs P0A93 and P0AC4, and the vehicle will not complete its emissions test. CAUSE The inverter cooling-system reservoir was empty, and inspection confirmed coolant leaking from an inverter cooling-system hose. CORRECTION Repair leaking inverter cooling-system hose. Refill and bleed inverter cooling circuit. Clear hybrid-system DTCs.
2007 Lexus RX400h – Hybrid Warning With P0A93 P0A05 P0A08
CUSTOMER CONCERN Customer states hybrid-system warning lights are on. DTCs P0A93, P0A05 and P0A08 are stored. CAUSE No coolant movement was visible in the inverter reservoir and the inverter coolant pump did not operate, confirming loss of inverter-coolant circulation. CORRECTION Remove and replace inverter water pump. Refill and bleed inverter cooling circuit. Clear hybrid-system DTCs.
2006 Toyota Prius – Hybrid Warning With P0A93
CUSTOMER CONCERN Customer states the hybrid warning is on and DTC P0A93 is stored. CAUSE The inverter cooling-water pump failed to circulate coolant through the inverter cooling system. CORRECTION Remove and replace inverter water pump. Refill and bleed inverter cooling circuit.
