2014 Chevrolet Volt – Service High Voltage Charging System With P1FFF
CUSTOMER CONCERN Service High Voltage Charging System message is displayed with DTC P1FFF. CAUSE Confirmed failed hybrid battery coolant level sensor. CORRECTION Remove and replace the hybrid battery coolant level sensor, clear DTC P1FFF, and verify the high-voltage charging system operates normally.
2013 Chevrolet Volt – Service High Voltage Charging System With P0AA6
CUSTOMER CONCERN The Driver Information Center displays Service High Voltage Charging System, and DTCs P0AA6, P1F0E and P1FFF are stored. CAUSE The confirmed repair identified outdated hybrid-control-module calibration after the high-voltage isolation and coolant checks did not reveal a hardware fault. CORRECTION Program and configure the Hybrid Powertrain Control Module 2 and companion hybrid-control module with the updated calibration.
2011 Chevrolet Volt – Service High Voltage Charging System With P1FFD and P1FFF
CUSTOMER CONCERN The Driver Information Center displays Service High Voltage Charging System, and DTCs P1FFD and P1FFF are stored. CAUSE Software review confirmed the Hybrid Powertrain Control Module 2 calibration was outdated for this condition. CORRECTION Program and configure the Hybrid Powertrain Control Module 2 with the updated calibration.
