2010 Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid – Intermittent Loss of Power Steering With C0545
CUSTOMER CONCERN Power-steering assist is lost intermittently with DTC C0545. CAUSE Testing confirmed a failed steering-shaft torque sensor. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed steering-shaft torque sensor. Calibrate the replacement sensor.
