CUSTOMER CONCERN The check-engine light remains on with fault 106004 after the fuel-tank vent valve was replaced. CAUSE Raw fuel contaminated the evaporative-emissions charcoal canister after the range-extender fuel tank was overfilled. CORRECTION Remove and replace the fuel-vapor charcoal canister, clear fault 106004, and verify the check-engine light remains off.
